This study presents and discusses the royal coins from the archaeological museums of Edirne, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ and Çanakkale, which are the regional museums of Turkish Thrace. A total of 54 coins from 24 different find spots in the region are included in the study. Specimens from the end of the Classical period and the last century of the Hellenistic period not only provide data on the coin circulation in the region but also make different inferences possible as the finding places are registered by the museums. The distribution resulting from the location of the museums is congruent with the presence of the forces that dominated or had a presence in Thrace. Here, the numismatic data in question is first cataloged and then a a brief evaluation and some inferences are presented. The material presented here is also of great significance for the studies on the royal coins preserved in the museums of Western Thrace, which are located outside the borders of contemporary Turkey. It is important to note that Thrace, which was a single entity in antiquity, is often evaluated separately due to the contemporary political structure, and the archaeological material cannot be handled holistically, so it is hoped that this study will represent a contribution to the advancement of knowledge in that regard.
